How it works

When buying (or selling) anything online from another person there's always this dilemma: money first? or goods first?

TopFiveDomains solves that by acting as an intermediary. We'll hold the buyers money in "escrow" and will only release the funds when the transfer is completed.

The buying steps, once you decide to sell a domain:

  1. Seller accepts a bid
  2. Buyer receives a payment link
  3. Buyer transfers the funds to TopFiveDomains
  4. TopFiveDomains sends transfer instructions to Seller
  5. Seller transfers the domains:
    1. Transferred within 24h: TopFiveDomains will transfer the funds to the Seller
    2. Not transferred after 24h: TopFiveDomains will contact the seller
    3. Not transferred after 48h: TopFiveDomains will fully refund the buyer

Fees

Topfive domains charges both the buyer and the seller 10% of the selling price. To maintain a fair fee, we will never charge a party more than €500,- per transaction. That means that our fees won't increase for any transactions above €5.000,-
